Being a homeowner can be challenging without the proper support in place. Even the best of us needs a little someone who can take care of things. We’re here to be that person for you--to renovate your floors, maintain them, and repair them when necessary. Let us do the hard part for you.

Did you know that you need to have a maintenance coat every 5 years?
If your floors have not been “touched up” for the past decade, it’s certainly time to give them some sanding and refreshing. We can help you with that.
However, before we get there, we’d like to give you a few tips on maintaining your floors on your own. This is easy and price-effective, trust us.

  • Put a protective mat or rug on your wooden floors. This will reduce the debris, dirt, and dust.
  • Clean spills as soon as they happen. This will reduce the appearance of stains. Use a dampened cloth.
  • Encourage your guests to take their shoes off and offer slippers. This will protect your floors from gathering extra dirt and being damaged by shoe soles.
  • Use a soft broom or a microfiber mop daily.
  • Vacuum weakly. Don’t press the vacuum cleaner into the floor.
  • Use a wood flooring cleaner once a month. Ask our team for specific recommendations.
  • Place felt pads on the legs of your furniture and don’t move furniture around for the sake of it.

We know from experience that these tips will protect your floors from damage and save you lots of time and money in the long-term.

My house is a 1951 Build with original floorboards throughoutMilen (and Gabriel) sanded and stained my living room, 3 bedrooms and stairs.The quality of the work was exceptional and the price very competitive.I was also unsure of what walnut colour to use, and the guys provided 4 different types/examples.I would highly recommend Artisan Flooring to anyone!Jason (North Circular Road, Dublin 7)

Milen, the tradesperson, has been an exceptional character all throughout our journey with these floors.First visit, I was late 45 minutes and he was still waiting for me, professional and smiling.He started working on the floors a week later and he did a fantastic job. We've managed to scratch the floor when moving furniture back, like the fridge and washing machine. However Milen came in again and fixed all of that for us without an extra cost.I can definitely say this is the best value for money, but also the most humane character that is passionate about his job, whilst being kind to his customers.10/10 would use again.

I found Artisan Floors through a Google search and in comparing their website, testimonials and gallery of work to other sites I decided to give them a call. The owner of the company came to my house that evening to discuss our options and pricing. He was very friendly and used to dealing with and helping people that hadn’t fully made up their mind on colour and finish. He helped us through these options and after measuring and pricing we were able to agree on when the work could be complete. It was done 10 days later and the advice on immediate aftercare was excellent. We went for a colour change from light oak to a dark walnut matte finish. It looks so natural now after a few weeks and looks so elegant. I cannot recommend Milen and his team enough.

I was a bit skeptical as I like to use people based on recommendations. I should not have been 5 star in relation to every aspect. Great attention to detail delighted with the job. Very efficient and would have no hesitation recommending to family and friends. A great company I would highly recommend.

Milan and his team did an amazing job on our front and back room. We have two adjoining rooms which have been covered in a very old fashioned carpet for the last 50 years. Within two days they were able to get the carpet up, do a full sanding and polish, and literally make the place feel like new.Very professional. Highly recommended.
